Weekly Meal Planning is a Great Idea

You know those days when you forget or don’t have time to prepare food in advance, you don’t bring anything to work, and then come home tired and just grab something quick in the kitchen. At the end of the day, you’re tired, you feel like you did not eat well, and the same thing awaits you tomorrow.

Well, it doesn’t have to be this way. You can plan and prepare delicious meals in advance easily, quickly, and without spending a lot of money.

Step 1: List

First of all, make a list of the dishes you like and find it easy to cook. This will be your basis for planning your meals this week.

List the dishes in a table, and write down for each day what will be the breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Step 2: Shop

Make a list and go shopping! Focus on the ingredients you need. Also focus on vegetables and fruit, which you can snack on between meals.

Step 3: Cook

Allocate two hours a week for cooking. It could be on the weekend, or one of the evenings on the weekday. The food you prepare, depending on the menu you have prepared in the table, should be enough for you for the whole week. If you have cooked too much, just freeze, and you will have food left ready for next week!
