Don’t Let Dehydration Join You on Your Next Trip

It’s summertime and traveling is on our minds. With itineraries set, accommodations booked, and excitement brimming, the one thing that is super important is staying hydrated during your trip.

Loyal Sidekick

This one may seem totally obvious, but carry a reusable water bottle with you. You can fill it up when you see water stations at the airport or train station, and can even set reminders on your phone to make sure you sip consistently.

Fancy Fruits

Do you get hangry? Same. Snacking is crucial when you’re out and about, so why not let them hydrate you as well? Cucumbers, watermelon, grapes, and oranges can all do wonders for your water intake

Spot the Enemy

Sizzling temperatures, long flights, and certain drinks can all lead to dehydration. Try to reduce your coffee consumption as caffeine is notorious for sapping hydration, and have a glass of water between every glass of wine or beer.

Outside In

When we’re not properly hydrated on the inside, we feel it on the outside too. Make sure that your moisturizer includes hyaluronic acid to keep your skin quenched (especially on the plane!) and carry a little face mist around for when you need a cooling spritz.
