Ingredients:

Pasty

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 450 grams plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 125 milliliter cold water
  • 125 grams unsalted butter.

Filling

  • 1 beaten egg
  • 150 grams finely dived swede
  • 40 grams butter
  • 450 grams finely diced potato
  • 300 grams finely chopped beef skirt

Instructions:

  1. Start by preparing the pastry. Mix the salt, baking powder, egg yolks, flour, and butter in a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend until you get a mixture that looks like crumbs. Start pouring water slowly and you will get the pastry.
  3. Once you’re done, leave it in the fridge for one hour.
  4. Set the oven to 180 C degrees.
  5. Separate the pastry into 6 parts and make discs of each one.
  6. Add salt and black pepper to the onions, swede, and potato.
  7. Mix the beef with salt, pepper, and flour.
  8. You can now start filling the pastry with these two mixtures.
  9. Close the discs in half and add butter on top.
  10. Use the egg to cover the edges with a brush.
