One of the most delicious new drinks that Starbucks serves is the deceptively simple sweet cream cold brew. This is simply cold-brewed coffee, served over ice, with sweetened cream mixed in. Sounds easy to master, right? Right! If you’re at a hotel and you don’t know where the nearest Starbucks is, you can make a pretty close version of the drink from right where you are. Here’s how.

  1. Brew whatever coffee is provided to you in the room. If it’s a coffee pot, brew stronger than you usually would. If it’s a machine with coffee pods, brew a couple of pods.
  2. You’ll have to leave the room for this step: getting ice. Head over to the ice machine on your floor and bring back about two cups or more of ice.
  3. Now comes the fun part: sugar. There are two ways to add the “sweet” to your sweet cream cold brew. You can either mix sugar directly into the coffee, or you can make a sugar syrup using a few sugar packets and just enough boiling water to dissolve them.
  4. Pour your strong coffee over ice and mix until it’s room temperature. Then add more ice to make it nice and cold.
  5. Finally, add your cream! Use at least two or more of the creamers provided with the coffee, and if you made sugar syrup, now is the time to mix it in. Start with just a little and put in more to your taste.
  6. Enjoy!

It seems like the only appropriate way to finish this insane year is with ungodly amounts of Nutella hot chocolate and we have just the recipe you need. It’s easy to make and perfect to have in the evening as you enjoy your favorite show.

We found the recipe on Ilhan M. A’s Instagram page. The London-based cook has 35k followers and millions of views on her Youtube videos. The recipes she shares are simple and delicious so it’s no surprise they’re popular.

It only requires milk and some Nutella (you can add as much as you like). After heating the milk and whisking the hazelnut spread to get a compact beverage, you simply pour it into your favorite mug or glass and decorate with whipped cream and grated chocolate.

As she notes in the post, she’s not a huge fan of hot chocolate but this recipe is something different. We’re sure you have the ingredients at home already, so why not give it a try? Don’t be surprised if it turns out to be your favorite winter drink!

Pasta is an easy, go-to meal in many homes, so it’s safe to say that one can never have enough pasta recipes. This flavorful cauliflower cheese pasta in particular is super easy to make, you’ll need only 4 ingredients and 15 minutes to prepare this tasty meal. Follow the recipe by Emily Leary from A Mummy Too to make this tasty dish.

(AD) Cheesy cauliflower pasta! This creamy, satisfying meal requires just four ingredients and 15 minutes to make! It’s the ultimate frozen food hack, using @icelandfoods frozen cauliflower cheese and frozen spinach combined with cooked macaroni to create a delicious family meal. I always have my freezer well stocked with frozen food. With a good range of choices, you can even make nutrient-rich, filling family meals entirely from the freezer, which is such a win. It also means if I’ve made a meal and it’s a bit light on veggies, I can easily reach into the freezer and find a portion to add, like with the spinach in this pasta dish. Frozen food is often cheaper than fresh food, but there’s really no compromise on quality. In fact, it’s frozen quickly after being harvested, so can actually retain more nutrients than fresh, which could have been in transit and on shelves for quite a while! Best of all, frozen food lasts much longer than fresh and I can just take out what I need, so there’s far less food waste. Will you switch to frozen at least once a week to save money and reduce waste? Here’s how to make this yummy cauliflower cheese pasta. Ingredients * 1 pack (680g) Iceland Frozen Cauliflower Cheese * 240g Iceland Frozen Spinach  * 300g dried macaroni Optional extras * 100g cheddar cheese, grated  * A little fresh parsley Instructions 1. Remove the cauliflower cheese from its packaging and place in a shallow microwaveable dish. Cover with a microwave-safe plate and place in the microwave. 2. Cook on full power for 7 minutes, stir, then cook for a further 7 minutes. 3. Meanwhile, set a large pan of boiling water over a medium heat and add the pasta. 4. Boil the pasta for 6 minutes, then add the spinach and boil for a further 3-5. Since the spinach is frozen, you may need to turn up the heat to bring it back to the boil. 5. Drain the pasta and spinach. Turn the grill (US = broiler) on to high. 6. Remove the cauliflower from the microwave and add the spinach and pasta. Fold through. You can now serve immediately, if you like, or follow the extra steps in the comments for a bubbling, cheesy top!

Summer will be over soon, so use its last days to make this delicious peach galette. Galette is a French word for flat crusty cakes that can be filled with anything you want, and this peach version by food blogger Sarah Brunella is one of our all-time favorites.

Here’s how to make it—the ingredients are enough for one big galette or 4 smaller galettes.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CCYdgrmF6aD/

Ingredients

For the dough

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 10 tbsp butter
  • 4-5 tbsp ice water

For the filling

  • 3-4 peaches
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 tbsp suger

Instructions

  • Use a food processor to mix the flour, salt, and butter for the dough until you get a mixture that looks like bread crumbs. Add water one spoon at a time and mix until you get a dough that holds together when you pinch it.
  • Dust the work surface with flour and put your dough on it. Make a rectangular-shaped pile and use your hands to smear it against the table. Work through all of the dough, gather it into a pile, and repeat.
  • Depending on how many galettes you’re making, separate the dough into as many pieces, wrap in plastic foil, and leave in the fridge for an hour.
  • Roll out the dough on parchment paper and place in the fridge for 20 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 375F and put the oven rack to the middle position.
  • Cut the peaches into thin wedges. Sprinkle cinnamon and salt over them, add sugar, and mix everything together. Put the fruit in the center of the dough you rolled but leave the border empty.
  • Fold the dough over the fruit, brush with water, and sprinkle a bit more sugar.
  • Bake until you get golden-brown tart and bubbling fruit. This may take from 40 minutes to an hour.
  • Let your galettes cool for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
  • Best served with vanilla ice cream.
