]]>Since starting her Instagram page @u.wanna.art in late 2020, Kunanets attracted over 140,000 followers, and she deserves all the attention coming her way. The rise of Instagram Reels helped her find viral fame because these brief videos managed to fully capture her step-to-step process.
Kunanets’ viral videos usually see her applying a thick layer of paint on canvas, and their color and texture make them seem just like real food. She mostly focuses on painting comfort foods we all know and love, such as donuts, waffles, pies, croissants, and everything in between.
Kunanets didn’t opt to focus on food paintings simply because they look good. Whether it’s a croissant from your first trip to Paris or a cocktail that you enjoyed drinking with a close friend, she’s a huge believer that food has the power to take us back to important moments in our past.
“Every simple thing, at first sight, carries information, association, memories, and a moment of ‘deja vu’. That’s why I draw simple things in these pictures – which you fill with your personal emotions!” she explains on her Etsy page.

]]>This creative mom from Koersel, Belgium, started experimenting with food only a year ago and very soon her hobby turned into incredibly realistic creations shaped like animals, famous people, or beautiful landscapes.
“When I started De Meal Prepper, it was meant to be about preparing food for several days in advance one afternoon, convenient for busy people and families,” Stokkermans said in an interview with Bored Panda. “Trying to search for nice stock photos on the Internet, I decided to make my own.”
Only when her children convinced her that her creations are too good not to be shared with other people did this creative mom started sharing her food art on Instagram.
Stokkermans said that she mostly uses vegetables, tomato sauce, natural food coloring, and spices to color the dishes. She stressed that every ingredient used for creating her art is perfectly edible, so we don’t have to worry about that.
If you love creative and colorful food art, De Meal Prepper is the perfect Instagram account for you to check out.

]]>Boschek fell in love with baking while growing up in Germany, and her fascination with beautifully baked goods grew stronger during frequent visits to Paris. She came up with the idea to start turning pies into edible works of art, in a similar way many food artists do with cakes.
“I have endless ideas for new designs, many more than I have time to actually create. Inspiration comes from nature, from inanimate objects and from traditional graphic and geometric designs,” she told Bored Panda.
Boschek attracted 100,000 followers to her Instagram page and even published a book called Elegant Pie, featuring her very best recipes. Most of her cakes look too good to eat, but the food artist claims that the decoration comes second since it’s much more important for her to bake pies that taste delicious.

]]>VineyardBaker is the bread artist to follow. Her profile reads she’s “Putting the Art in Artisan Breads, WARNING: : this site contains gluten,” and after looking at her Instagram page, she’s definitely doing just that.
Her masterpieces are completely edible with flower designs that use sliced peppers and chives.
Start by baking a simple tomato herb focaccia and replace the tomato with kalamata olives, peppers, capers, grape tomatoes, and fresh herbs. VinyardBaker recommends allowing the dough to rise before pressing the vegetables into the bread. If you’re using wet ingredients, like tomatoes, pat them dry after you slice them to avoid your bread from getting soggy.
In addition to flower-topped focaccia, VineyardBaker also makes sourdough bread with amazing patterns and bread in fun, unique shapes.

]]>Barresi spent his childhood in Italy, and that was where he fell in love with carving and started creating incredible works of art. He was only seven when he discovered his passion for carving, and he’s hoping large audience will recognize its value thanks to his work.
Barresi developed his skills and techniques as he grew up and practices on many different objects, including fruits, vegetables, cheeses and soaps. He is transported into a magical universe every time he commits to his craft, and that’s probably part of the reason why his creations seem so outwardly.
The young artist did wonders with every material he touched, but his fruit and vegetable structures really captivated our mind. It’s amazing to see the attention to detail Barresi managed to master, especially since these objects don’t have extremely firm structure and most carving artists wouldn’t dare give them a shot.
