You already know that you should never go to bed without removing your makeup first, but do you have a good makeup removal routine? If you’re not sure if you’re doing all the necessary steps, here’s our checklist you can follow.

1st Step: Remove Eye Makeup

Use micellar water to gently remove makeup from your eyes. Don’t rub them, but press the soaked pads onto your eyes for around 30 seconds to break the makeup down first.

2nd Step: Remove Face Makeup

Use an oil-based cleanser to wash down the makeup on your face. Massage it into your skin for a few minutes then wash down with warm water. This will be the part one of the double cleanse that will leave your face completely clean and makeup-free.

3rd Step: Light Cleanser

Now you need to cleanse your face again, but with a lighter cleanser. Use it in the same way as the oil cleanser and pat your skin with a clean towel after you’re done.
