Save Your Feet This Summer With These Blister Tips

Summer is prime time for blisters for many reasons; sandals can rub you the wrong way, your feet can get sweaty inside a sneaker, and if you’re traveling you’re probably doing a lot more walking than you’re used to. A bad blister in the wrong place can really stop you from being super mobile, so follow these tips and walk on!

Try not to touch it. The best way for it to heal is to be left completely alone with just a bandage thrown over it

After a long day of walking, soak your feet in some hot water. Not only will it feel good, but it’ll soften the skin around the blister which will make it heal quicker.

Use aloe vera on it. It is an astringent which means it’ll help keep the blister clean. It is also cooling properties at is commonly used for sunburns, which will feel awesome on any blister after a long day.

If you have gotten blisters in the past in certain areas, or once your blisters have finally healed, put some moleskin bandages on them. This will prevent the blisters from occurring which will you save you a lot of pain and time in the future.
