How to Enjoy Eating Your Vegetables

You know you should eat more vegetables, but you’re just not that person. If you eat a veggie every now and then just so you could say you do but you don’t really enjoy them, know that you can easily change that. Here’s what we recommend everyone who wants to truly enjoy vegetables.

Get the Right Recipes

If you just boil or steam the vegetables, chances are they aren’t going to taste good. Pick up some recipes from cookbooks or try new dishes when eating out and learn how they are prepared.

Add Dressing

Salad dressings can be very high in calories but avoiding them leads to bland salads that nobody would like. Try adding a mixture of oil and acid and the taste will instantly improve. The possible combinations include olive oil and balsamic vinegar, sunflower oil and lemon juice, etc.

Grill the Veggies

Grilled vegetables taste amazing and don’t feel like obligatory healthy food, but like a real, delicious treat. Try grilling eggplant, zucchini or tomatoes and you’ll see what we’re talking about.

Add Nuts and Seeds

A meal that consists of salad alone may sound healthy but it won’t keep you full for long. Boost it with some healthy fats from nuts and seeds that also affect the flavor and watch yourself turn into a person who eats a salad every night for dinner.
