When working to transform yourself into a morning person, you may begin to set earlier alarms. You will likely press snooze on these alarms and try to go back to sleep. 

Snooze settings were added to alarms in order to allow the person to get a few extra minutes of sleep without actually entering into a deep sleep cycle. But as we night owls surely understand, a few extra minutes can quickly turn into an hour.
