The problem that most hosts have once the party gets going is making sure there’s enough ice. Nobody wants a warm drink, but at the same time, you want to enjoy the party with everyone else! The solution is here: a giant ice centerpiece. With just a few tools and a little patience, you can have a beautiful bowl of ice that will not only keep your drinks cold, it will be beautiful as well.
Tools
You will need two bowls, one slightly smaller than the other so it can fit inside the bowl. You can choose whatever you would like to be inside the ice, whether that is edible flowers, fruit, or herbs.
Method
- Fill a bowl a little more than halfway with water and whatever you want to add in.
- Take the second bowl and place it in the center.
- Secure with duct tape so it stays in the middle.
- Put it in the freezer overnight to set up.
- To release, leave it out at room temperature for 10-15 minutes, then remove the bowls to reveal your creation!
This ice bowl can be used in replacement of ice in a punch bowl or used to hold bottles and keep them chilled.
