The post Why Eating Protein for Breakfast Will Change Your Whole Day appeared first on My Daily Magazine - Art, Design, DIY, Fashion and Beauty !.
]]>Protein is an important nutrient that helps us build muscle and gives us energy. A breakfast of pancakes and waffles covered in syrup might taste good, but those carbs don’t keep the body satiated for a very long time. Sugar and carbs give the body a fast boost in energy.
The body can digest the simple carbs fast. Immediately after consuming them, the body feels ready to go. But just like the body receives carbohydrates quickly, it also uses them quickly. As soon as the supply runs out, the body may experience symptoms like a headache caused by a sudden blood sugar drop.
This is why including protein is so important. Protein digests slower in the body and our body takes longer to convert it into energy. As a result of this, it gives the body a more stable source of energy – a more gradual rise and fall that will keep the blood sugar more stable.

]]>A growing number of apps such as Wolt and GrubHub are tailoring to customers ordering from home. As a result, there has been a push towards eco-friendliness in delivery materials as well. But what we all really care about is what new foods are hot. Here are some new food trends from this year.
No one had changed up the jerky industry until recently when biltong came onto the market. Biltong originates from South Africa and is very similar to jerky. However, while jerky is cooked in an oven, biltong is hung out to dry naturally in the air, resulting in it being much less smoky. It is now becoming known as a healthier alternative, often sought out by people on diets such as paleo.
Last year we saw fast-food giants vying for public favor as chains such as McDonald’s, Burger King, and Wendy’s rolled out Impossible Burgers and fought to offer consumers the healthiest fast food. This year, the battle is continuing on the breakfast playground. Classics like the McMuffin just don’t cut it anymore, and we are sure to see some tasty new options over the coming months.
Now that we all have plenty of candy from Halloween, we might as well put it to good use. Charcuterie plates are traditionally composed of cold meats, and perhaps the occasional cheese and cracker. However, a new trend is an imaginative charcuterie, composed of unconventional ingredients and displayed in delightful designs.

]]>For an airy and fluffy omelet, choose especially fresh eggs, preferably not ones you just took out of the fridge. The eggs should be at room temperature before cooking.
Beat the eggs with a whisk and rich cooking cream so that the omelet will be airy as a souffle.
The perfect omelet is fried with butter or olive oil, on a good non-stick pan over medium heat. Low heat will dry the omelet, and high heat will burn it.
Try avoiding making a “thin” omelet. A great omelet should be rich, thick, and multi-textured. Use at least 3 eggs and a suitable pan (not too big or too small).
The toppings are as important as the eggs. Add top-quality ingredients to your omelet. Great toppings are Swiss cheese or goat cheese, champignon mushrooms sautéed in butter and a little salt, French sausage, or fresh asparagus.
The omelet should be served immediately from the pan to the table. There is nothing more miserable than a chilled omelet.

]]>Here’s a dish you’ll want to get out of bed to make— this dish pairs creamy Greek yogurt with savory fried eggs and roasted vegetables.
Chances are you have a can of tuna or sardines in your pantry and some bread in your fridge. All you need to do is top bread off with the fish of your choosing and add greens, a squeeze of lemon, and salt and pepper.
This is the quickest meal to make and all you need is cottage cheese and whatever vegetables you have in your fridge. Our favorites are avocado, cucumbers, and tomato. Just top it off with some extra-virgin olive oil and salt and pepper.

]]>Every kind of fruit shake, juice, or fruit yogurt will give you energy in the morning but you’ll quickly be out of it. That’s because this type of breakfast is filled with sugar that’s not going to keep you full for a long time. Instead, it’s better to eat a piece of fruit with regular yogurt and add some protein like peanut butter.
A bakery may be your source of breakfast when you’re in a hurry, but most of the things you can get there contain a lot of salt, sugar, fats, and additives – all things you should avoid in the morning. If you love pastry for breakfast, pick a whole wheat one and add some butter or cheese to it.
Eggs with sausage or a salami sandwich may be delicious, but they’re not exactly the healthiest choice for breakfast. Instead, boil or poach an egg and combine it with a slice of toast and green tea.

]]>Avocado oatmeal is the new avocado toast. Try this healthy alternative by slicing an avocado into a warm bowl of oatmeal. Add an egg made in whichever method you prefer: poached, scrambled or fried.
Adding savory parmesan to hot oatmeal gives the dish a decadent risotto-like taste. Stir in some diced fresh tomatoes and a spoonful of homemade pesto for an extra special brunch.
If you’re a sucker for a bacon egg and cheese sandwich but don’t want to go crazy on the carbs, this one’s for you. Crispy slices of bacon and tangy orange cheddar combine with an egg to create an unforgettable oatmeal dish.
If the idea of savory oatmeal is still new to you, fresh minced garlic is a great way to introduce your tastebuds. Sautéed portobello mushrooms and Tuscan kale are also great oatmeal toppings.

]]>Slice up your favorite veggies or the ones you have at home at the moment, and your favorite seasonings, and make a delicious veggie omelet that’s a perfect breakfast solution for busy workdays.
Nothing beats the smell of fresh egg muffins spreading from the oven early in the morning. Just whisk a couple of eggs, and a little bit of milk, and add your favorite vegetables, sliced up. Pour into the muffin tray, bake for around 20 minutes, and enjoy.
Poaching an egg may require some skill, but once you master it, the avocado and poached egg toast will become your favorite breakfast. It is as simple as it sounds: toast a piece of bread, slice up some avocado and put it on the bread, and add the egg on top of it.
