Simple Pasta Dish With Only 5 Ingredients

The Coronavirus pandemic got many of us stuck at home, forced to cook more than ever before, and if you’re feeling overwhelmed we totally understand! Cooking can be especially daunting if you’re trying to do it in a healthy way, but there are always days when you just want to make something quickly and be done with it. This simple pasta is perfect for those days.

You Will Need

  • whole-grain spaghetti, 1 box
  • olive oil, 2 tbsp
  • butter, 2 tbsp
  • garlic, 4 cloves
  • red pepper flakes to taste

How to Make It

  1. Fill a pot with water and add some salt. Cook spaghetti al dente.
  2. Chop the garlic and lightly salt it. Leave aside for now.
  3. Put olive oil and butter in a sauté pan and melt over medium heat. When it starts bubbling, add garlic and red pepper.
  4. Carefully stir until the garlic browns and remove from heat.
  5. Drain the cooked spaghetti and transfer it to the plate. Coat with garlic oil mix, and add some more salt and pepper flakes if you want.
