Miley Cyrus just got herself what fans are describing as a “modern mullet” and the internet is on the fence about it.
Miley has been the queen of reinvention over the last few years. Since leaving Hannah Montanna, she has gone through just about every haircut in the book. From pixies to bangs, keeping up with Miley’s hair has been like trying to keep up with the Kardashians.
Now, in time for her 27th birthday, Miley has debuted her most divisive hairstyle yet. While stylists are describing the cut as “very cool”, some fans aren’t so sure.
Miley’s mum Tish did the cut herself and posted the video on her Instagram.
Since Miley shared a photo of herself with the new cut, she has received criticism from fans describing it as “the worst cut” they had seen. Her stylist, Sally Hershberger, has since defended the cut describing it as a “modern mullet”. She has also called on fans to “chill out”.
Regardless of that, we think it is awesome and Miley seems happy with her new cut. So haters quit hating.
