If you enjoy watching TV shows with a coming-of-age theme, you’ve probably had a lot of fun this year because it gave us a couple of pretty epic teen dramas. HBO, Hulu, and Netflix all came up with amazing young adult shows of their own, and these three had everyone talking.
Euphoria
Euphoria needs no special introduction because we’ve been talking about it all year long. In addition to featuring some of the best makeup looks we’ve ever seen on our small screens, it’s also a gritty look at teen years that can’t be missed.
Sex Education
If you find Euphoria too heavy and prefer shows with a more humorous tone, you’ll fall in love with Sex Education – the tale of shy teen with a sex therapist for a mother, whose life turns upside down after he makes an unusual business deal with a rebellious classmate.
Looking for Alaska
This Hulu mini-series takes John Green’s cult novel, and makes it even better! It’s a story of a teenage boy who’s on a quest to find his “great perhaps” at a new boarding school, where a mysterious classmate quickly wins his heart.
