If You’ve Never Had a Mars Bar Cake, You Are Seriously Missing Out

In many European countries, including the UK, the Mars bar is a classic candy bar. The Mars bar is similar to the Milky Way. People in European countries use Mars bar to make incredibly delicious desserts called Mars bar cakes, which are sweet, have a great texture, and are no-bake! So if you’re looking for a new dessert to fall in love with, this mars bar cake is for you.

Ingredients

For those of you who don’t live in the European countries, where Mars bars are found, you can use the American equivalent, a Milky Way.

  • 3 Mars bars/ Milk Ways
  • 2 oz of sugar
  • 2 oz of butter
  • 1 ½ oz of Rice Krispies cereal or generic equivalent
  • Milk chocolate for drizzle on top

Instructions

  1. Gently melt the butter in a saucepan. Once it’s melted, add in the sugar.
  2. Cut up the Mars bars/Milky Ways into small pieces and add that into the pan as well.
  3. Once that’s melted, add in the rice crispies cereal, mix, and turn off the heat.
  4. Spoon the mixture into a greased container and leave it in the fridge until it’s set, at least 30 minutes.
  5. Melt chocolate and spread over the cake and return it to the fridge to harden.
  6. Cut the cake into squares and enjoy!
