Wine is one of the most popular drinks in the world, yet many complain that they often experience headaches after drinking it. There are a few reasons why this happens, and here are some ways to prevent it.

Remove the Sulfites

In most cases, wine intolerance is caused by the sulfites that are added to wine in order to preserve its taste. One of the ways to get rid of the sulfites is to strain them with filters, but there are also wine drops that can be added to the wine in order to remove the sulfites.

Drink Water

Every alcoholic beverage, not only wine, removes water from our body and leaves us dehydrated which can later lead to headaches. You can prevent this by drinking plenty of water while enjoying your wine and that way you’ll keep your body hydrated.

Avoid Sugar

Enjoying a delicious dessert while sipping a glass of wine sounds great, but eating too much sugar while drinking is also one of the things that can cause a headache. Just like alcohol, sugar also causes dehydration, which means it’s best to skip the dessert when drinking wine, or at least keep sugar to the minimum and drink plenty of water.

Anyway, we highly recommend to drink moderately.
