Our favorite beauty brands sometimes look for inspiration in unusual places, and food was their main creative force this summer. Food-themed makeup and skincare lines were going stronger than ever this season, and we certainly want to get the taste of these five.

Glamlite always opts for the most amazing themes when coming up with new makeup collections. Their Bake & Set powder line includes products inspired by such delicious treats as strawberry shortcake, banana cream pie, and chocolate cake.
Wonderskin
Wonderskin joined forces with Chipotle for the National Avocado Day and launched a peel-and-reveal, guac-proof lip stain kit known as Lipotle.
Essence
Essence won everyone’s hearts with their budget-friendly makeup products, and one of their latest collections features lipglosses, blushes, liquid highlighters, and more inspired by Bubble Gum.

All the nail art lovers out there are already familiar with Sally Hansen’s amazing nail polish collections, and their latest features a line of vibrant colors developed in collaboration with the lollipop brand Ring Pop.
SheGlam
SheGlam promised their new collection would bring something yummy our way and launched a line of lipglosses featuring the scent of some of our favorite confections, with such names as Candy Lane, Cocoa Cookie, Melon Pop, and Strawberry Milk.
