Natalie Doef became a huge Instagram sensation after deciding to give us a glimpse inside her perfectly decorated Ontario home. DIY videos are a cornerstone of her social media content, and you’ll love them if you’re a fan of boho décor with a natural and earthy vibe.
Doef always enjoyed putting a lot of effort into decorating her living space, but it took some time before she had a home to call her own. That changed when she moved into a north-facing apartment in Ontario, Canada, where she was finally free to bring her personal style to every nook and corner.
Doef’s Instagram page attracted over 350,000 followers, and it’s a huge hit with fans of boho style. She enjoys filling her spaces with natural materials, plants, thrift finds, and unique DIY pieces.
Doef made many of the things in her home on her own, and she finds the process of learning to use new tools pretty empowering due to a sense of accomplishment tied to it.
“Whenever I see the shelves on my wall or the DIY bathroom cabinet – I’m reminded that I CAN do the things I once thought I wasn’t capable of. Along with learning new things comes the practice of patience. It takes a while for your house to become a home; every step along the way is part of the process,” she told Apartment Therapy.
