How To Eat Smaller Meals Throughout Your Day

In most cultures, it is traditional to have three meals per day. While that serves most people well, it is often difficult for many to wait so long for each meal to eat. If you are looking to try something new for your body, whether you want to lose weight or just feel better, try to eat smaller meals throughout your day. Most people will recommend 5-6 small meals, and here is how you can do it.

Breakfast

Eat something in the morning that will keep you satisfied for at least a couple of hours, like oatmeal. Oatmeal is great because it expands in your stomach, keeping you fuller for longer.

Second Meal

Opt for nuts or fruit which provide nutrients and protein, but won’t leave you feeling sluggish.

Lunch

Try a salad with chickpeas, fresh vegetables, and a tangy dressing for lunch. You can also have something a bit heavier, but try to drink a tea or some herbs in hot water after.

Fourth Meal

Nuts or some rice cakes with hummus or tahini is a good choice for your fourth meal.
