Amazon gave us an amazing show about the afterlife in their new futuristic series Upload, which tells the story of a world in which people can spend an eternity in the virtual afterlife of their choosing. The Good Place
The Good Place is the most obvious show to watch after Upload since their respective creators Michael Schur and Greg Daniels happen to be close collaborators. It follows a group of people trying to enjoy eternal happiness after passing away, only to find out that heaven isn’t as perfect as it seems.
Forever
SNL alums Fred Armisen and Maya Rudolph play the leads in this Amazon comedy show, which centers on a couple who spent over a decade living a monotonous suburban life, only to have their marriage tested in the afterlife.
Drop Dead Diva
Nathan’s sudden death in Upload made him reevaluate his priorities in the afterlife, and that’s exactly what happens to a shallow fashion model after her spirit is brought back to life in the body of the plus-sized lawyer in Drop Dead Diva.
