A Look Back at Some of Jeremy Scott For Moschino’s Tastiest Looks

Jeremy Scott is known for combining humor and fashion and he likes creating work around food. “You name a type of food and I’ve created a look around it!,” he told British Vogue. You’ll probably recognize some of his famous looks including Lizzo’s chocolate-bar dress and Katy Perry’s burger Met Gala after-party look. Here’s a look at some of our favorite looks from the designer.

Katy Perry

The pop singer wore a burger dress that looked good enough to munch on to the Met Gala 2019 after-party.  “I was thinking about how at the end of the ball everyone is ready to kick off their heels, toss off their corsets and eat some junk food,” Scott told Vogue. Underneath the burger, she wore an adorable ruched lettuce dress with a sequenced burger cape.

Lizzo

No one was expecting Lizzo to show up to the Brit Awards in 2020 with a Hershey chocolate bar dress. The dress, originally worn by Jourdan Dunn, was modernized by making it one-shouldered instead of strapless and the bold logo and 25-cent symbol were emphasized.

Moschino Cake

The designer’s favorite accessory from his autumn/winter 2020 collection was an extension of the show’s invite—an iced three-tiered, Mr Kipling-pink Moschino gateau.

Joan Smalls

Moschino’s autumn/winter 2020 show celebrated Marie Antoinette as an icon and Joan Small’s dress was a cream-cake, iced-patisserie, and framboise-tart mini-dress. He told British Vogue he likes to have fun with politics, “Because sometimes a bit of decadence is the best form of rebellion you can have.”
