The young actress recently discussed her beauty journey in an in-depth interview with Refinery29, and revealed she’s been interested in makeup from a very young age. Her early looks had a strong emo vibe, and she was already a skilled self-thought makeup artist by the time she reached 12.
Long story short, Barbie Ferreira has always been a huge fan of makeup, but her role in Euphoria taught her to appreciate it on a whole new level. Makeup played an important role in her character’s transformation, and Kat’s journey inspired her to try new things on her own.
“It’s honestly not that far from the makeup that I wore in middle school. The show definitely sparked more inspiration for me to go full-out with my makeup and go back to being more experimental. I know that there are no limits,” Ferreira told Refinery29.
