The original purpose of fabric softener is to make your clothes soft and nice-smelling, but there are other ways you can implement your favorite fabric softener fragrance into your life. Here are 5 of the best alternative ways to use it.

Air freshener

Remove static electricity

A few drops of fabric softener will help you get rid of the static electricity that accumulates everywhere and collects dust. Mix one tablespoon of it with two cups of water and use the mixture to wipe the wooden elements and electric devices.

Clean big dishes

You can easily clean pans and pots that have food residue if you fill them with water, add a bit of fabric softener and leave for an hour before washing.

Peel off wallpapers and wall stickers with ease

A mixture of water and fabric softener is also great for peeling off wallpapers and wall stickers. Simply soak a sponge and run it over the area you want to peel off. Leave on for 30 minutes and half of your work is done.

Emergency hair conditioner

Make sure your fabric softener is gentle and doesn’t contain any harsh chemicals. Use it if you find yourself out of hair conditioner, but don’t make this a habit.
