Summer is the perfect time to take up exercise and finally reach your fitness goals. Most people have a lot of different questions before they start going to the gym, so here are just a few things you can expect will happen after you start exercising.

Sore Muscles

Obviously, the first thing you’ll notice after starting a new workout program is sore muscles. This is unavoidable, but you can reduce muscle pain by eating healthy foods and drinking plenty of water.

You’ll Be Hungrier

Chances are that, in the beginning, you’ll be hungrier than usual after your workouts, especially if they’re very intense. This is completely normal because our body needs more energy when we’re active.

Improved Sleep

Studies have shown that most people managed to improve their quality of sleep thanks to regular physical activity. That’s why you shouldn’t be surprised if you notice that you’re getting more sleep at night.

Increased Energy

The best thing about regular exercise is that you’ll eventually feel stronger and more energized than ever. This probably won’t happen overnight because your body needs time to get used to this new routine, but eventually, you’ll notice that you have more energy during the day.
