It’s pride month, baby! And what better way to celebrate than to support fellow LGBTQ+ people, like queer artists, by listening to their music? It’s a win for everybody; you get to enjoy great music and support the community and they benefit, also. Sound good? We think so, too. Here are three artists we recommend.

King Princess

She emerged as a force with her first album Cheap Queen in 2019, with her first single “1950” even getting the attention of one Harry Styles. Today, King Princess just released her newest song “House Burn Down,” continuing to experiment with her sound and gender expression and make unapologetically queer music.

Kim Petras

If your music tastes lean more on the side of jams, bops, and bangers, you’ll love German-born pop star supreme Kim Petras whose bubblegum pink and blonde aesthetic both complements and contrasts perfectly with her electropop music.

Rebecca Black

If her name sounds familiar, you’re probably one of the 153 million people who have seen her music video for “Friday” which went viral in 2011. Well, today, Black is out, proud, and about to release a new album, with a handful of songs (that are a bit more grown-up than “Friday”) already out for you to enjoy.
