Unless you want to spend tons of money eating out, your hostel should come with a shared kitchen. You’ll be able to prepare your own meals this way with cheap groceries you can buy at local markets.
Perfect Spot
Renting a cheap room far from the city center to save money may seem like a good idea at first, but it won’t anymore once you start wasting time on public transportation. It’s better to invest a couple of extra bucks into a hostel with a good location, since it’s the money you would be spending on bus and metro anyway.
Wi-Fi Connection
It’s safe to assume you’ll be planning parts of your trip as you go along, and you’ll need a strong internet connection to do that. That’s why this tiny component is crucial, but it’s also easier to keep in touch with your friends and family when the Wi-Fi is good at your hostel.
