Quarantine got us all cooking more. Some enjoy it, others not as much, but we all need to eat and prepare our own food even if we relied on restaurants and delivery so far. One of the worst things about cooking is dealing with the dishes, and if you hate doing them or don’t have a dishwasher here are the cooking rules you should follow.

Make Big Batches

Cook for more than one day and do the dishes only once. You can pack and freeze the food so that you have ready meals when you don’t feel like cooking.

Pre-Chop Everything

When your recipe calls for chopped carrots, onions, celery, or fresh herbs, chop more than you need at the moment and save the extra in a closed plastic container in the fridge. You won’t have to chop and wash the board and knife the next time!

Line Baking Sheet With Foil

If you do this every time, you won’t have to wash the sheet, even after some serious meals like roasted chicken that usually messes up the baking sheet a lot.
