Rian Johnson’s first TV series premiered this winter, and he decided to focus on a genre he knows best: murder mystery! Poker Face follows former casino worker Charlie Cale, who uses her ability to detect lies to solve mysterious murderers across the United States, while on the run from her former boss who wants her dead.
