The magnificent “Lotus Palace” was build In 2013, in The People’s Park in Changzhou, China. This wonder of modern architecture shows the life cycle of the lotus flower in its three phases.
The building is an addition to the existing two-floor underground building which is actually a municipal building – one of the best looking in the world. The Lotus Palace was designed by Studio 505 as a sculptural piece. The interior resembles a cathedral with its vivid colors, a mix of light and dark shades that create an impressive volume.
