Award-winning actress and activist Viola Davis is the new spokeswomen for L’Oréal Paris. Davis is the tenth woman over the age of 40 to join the L’Oréal family, after iconic beauties like Jane Fonda, Helen Mirren, Courteney Cox, Vanessa Williams, and most recently Celine Dion.

Over the past few years, L’Oréal Paris has been promoting women from different backgrounds as their beauty ambassadors in order to send their core message “Because I’m Worth It.” With her powerful appearance and unique beauty, the 54-year-old How to Get Away With Murder star seems perfect for this role.

“I believe that the greatest privilege is to be who you are. No apologies for your age, your color, anything. As long as you’re you and living up to who that is and what that means, you’re worth it. That’s self-worth,” Davis explained what the words “worth it” mean to her.

The brand will soon be launching a campaign for their Age Perfect skincare line for mature skin. Davis will appear in all TV, print, and digital ads for this range and we can’t wait to see her in this role!
