Based between London and Venice (when traveling is allowed, that is), McAlpine draws inspiration from both cities. “They’re such different cities and ways of life,” she stated once in an interview with Khoollect, “and I feel very lucky to have the contrast.”
According to McAlpine, while Venice is wonderfully dreamy, she’s also very much attracted to the bustle of London. “The theatre, the trendy restaurants, the shows and there are so many people doing exciting things,” she says.
And whilst there isn’t really where to travel to these days, scrolling through her Instagram page, and admiring her wonderful dishes is a treat in and of itself. A virtual vacation, if you will.
