Backpacking does not have to be complicated. When traveling as a backpacker, you can have what you need without necessarily carrying a huge bag. The essence is to make your adventure exciting and not tedious. Yet, there are some essentials, you must never forget. Here they are.

Water Bottle

Because you will be on foot most of the time, it is important to keep your body hydrated. Carrying a refillable water bottle is an excellent idea instead of purchasing packed water all the time. A collapsible one is a smart choice so that when you finish your water, you can put it back in your bag as this type of water bottle consumes little space.

First Aid Kit

There is no sure way of telling whether or not we will get sick or have accidents. An excellent way to backpack is by carrying a replenished first aid kit with you. In case of injuries, you can administer first aid before the injured part gets infected.

Headlamp

When going on an adventure, you often find yourself in areas where there is no electricity, for example, in the forest. A headlamp comes in handy, especially when you decide to camp in that area and continue adventuring the following day.
