The 73rd annual Tony Awards gathered some of Broadway’s biggest names at Radio City Music Hall. From textured pompadour to dramatic curls, our favorite stars brought some fantastic looks to the red carpet. Let’s take a look at the best hair and beauty moments from this year’s Tony Awards.

Camille A. Brown

Brown made history as the first black woman choreographer nominated for a Tony in over 20 years. She celebrated this special occasion with a lovely purple and blonde loc updo!

TONY’S 2019 THANK YOU for the LOVE! It means so much!!! It was an amazing night filled with excitement and joy. The men of Choir Boy DANCED!!! So proud!!! Lifting up every Black female choreographer that has contributed to the world of theater. The middle space between visibility and invisibility is real. We must always show up for ourselves and the people who paved the way through exhaustion, fear, and perseverance. THANK YOU to my community!!! I can’t do any of this without you. Lilli Cooper

Cooper received a Tony Award nominee for playing the lead in the musical adaptation of Tootsie. Rob Harmon styled this powerfull braided ponytail for her and gave it a dramatic finishing touch with side cornrows.
