Now that the holidays are over, we can’t ignore the weather that’s getting colder and colder. And who knows cold better than the Scandinavians? There’s a new winter fashion trend coming from northern Europe that seems perfect for the cold weather and we can’t wait to try it.

We’re talking about quilting. Quilted clothes are a great way to warm up during winter and it’s finally time to get behind the trend. Quilting is nothing new, but we’re already used to old trends making a comeback. Quilting is a technique of patching different materials together and although it sounds sloppy, the end result is often beautiful and effortlessly chic.

People who live in countries where it’s cold most of the year had to learn how to dress in a way to stay warm and comfortable while still being stylish and feeling good in their outfits. We can learn a lot from the Scandinavians and the quilting trend is just one of the many amazing things they shared with the world.
