Night cream is essential for any skin type and for people of every age. Among many benefits to wearing night cream, you will find that your skin will be more hydrated, firmer, and overall more even.
If you want to use night cream but haven’t found one that suits you or are interested in a natural product, make your own at home! You only need a few ingredients, and you’ll be really pleased with the end result.
For this night cream, you will need:
half a cup of extra virgin olive oil
2 spoonfuls of coconut oil
1 spoonful of beeswax
two capsules worth of vitamin E or 1/2 teaspoon of pure vitamin E oil
You can find beeswax in holistic or natural stores, or online.
In a small saucepan, mix together the olive oil, coconut oil, along with the beeswax. Heat everything on a low setting until everything is melted together.
Once it is all melted, take the pan off the heat and add in either 1/2 teaspoon of the vitamin E oil or the 2 tablets crushed. Mix everything again and wait for it to cool.
Once it’s cooled, put it into a container or jar and store for up to 3 months!
