Elevating your home decor doesn’t always require a hefty investment or a complete overhaul. Today, we’re diving into a fun and creative DIY project: turning a regular plastic tray into a stylish bathroom tray.
Materials:
- A plain plastic tray
- Small cups (4 for the legs)
- Strong adhesive glue
- Spray paint
- Sandpaper (light grit)
Instructions:
- Begin by sanding the surface slightly so the paint adheres better. Then, wash and dry well.
- Apply a strong adhesive glue to the rim of each cup and press them onto the corners of the bottom of the tray. Allow the glue to dry according to the instructions on the package.
- Once the glue is dry, choose a spray paint color. Spray paint is preferable for its smooth finish, but make sure to do this step in a well-ventilated area or outdoors. Apply the paint in thin, even coats to avoid drips.
- After the paint has fully dried, you can add a clear sealant for extra durability, especially if you anticipate your tray will frequently come into contact with water.
