These Sriracha Roasted Chickpeas Are Irresistible

Chickpeas are one of the most incredible ingredients in the grocery store. You can buy them already cooked in a can and eat them straight away, or cook them yourself with no ease at all. They have tons of protein, fiber, iron, potassium, and more. Not only that, they are so delicious and can be used in multiple different ways. For this recipe, chickpeas are going to be transformed into a crunchier version of themselves. They can be eaten just as a snack, put on top of salads, or in the middle of a hummus platter. Any way you serve them, they are simply delicious.

Pro-Tip

Dry off the chickpeas really well before you try and roast them. If they are even a little wet, they won’t get super crispy, but they will still be delicious!

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix together lime juice, sriracha, and olive oil.
  2. Put the chickpeas in the bowl with the liquid and make sure each chickpea is covered.
  3. Place them evenly on a baking sheet and bake at 450F for close to 30 minutes until they are brown and crispy
  4. Store them in an airtight container to make sure they retain their crispiness and enjoy!
