This fruit is also known as pitaya in some parts of the world, but it also goes by the name dragon fruit. It is most popular in Southeast Asia but is really eaten around the world. The inner flesh comes in an array of colors from bright fuchsia to pure white. The taste is pretty mild, sort of a mix between a kiwi and a melon.
