You can hit the gym every day but still make zero progress, and this isn’t happening by accident. Some of your daily habits may be setting you back, and here’s a couple you should change if you want to have something to show for your workouts.
You’re sabotaging your workouts by hitting the gym hungry. Make sure to have a meal or at least a healthy snack an hour or two before, and never go to the gym without your water bottle in hand because proper hydration is equally important.
Messy Sleep Schedule
You shouldn’t sacrifice your sleep to make enough time for a workout. If you’re sleepy and tired during each sweat session, you’ll have a hard time achieving your goals. Make a better schedule by reducing the number of your workouts or finding a program that works better for you.
Same Old Routines
Humans are creatures of habit and if you suddenly find yourself stuck in the same old routine, you’re not the only one. It’s important to vary your fitness routine, and add new things to the mix once you notice something else is not working for you.
