“Riverdale” Star Madelaine Petsch Swears by Morning Workouts

Morning workouts come with a long list of benefits, but many people avoid them at all costs. If you still haven’t discovered the magic of exercising at the break of day, Madelaine Petsch is here to change your mind.

The Riverdale star recently launched her first activewear collection with Fabletics and discussed her own fitness journey with Popsugar. Petsch admitted she prefers morning workouts since they’re better for her emotional well-being.

“I’ll always choose to go to bed an hour earlier than normal in order to squeeze in a workout before I head to set. It’s so important to my mental health and happiness throughout the day. If I can work out in the a.m., I’m more on top of my game for the rest of the day,” said Petsch.

The young actress usually works out with her trainer Alex Fine, but she also enjoys having casual walks around the neighborhood. Her workouts mainly focus on toning and strength and incorporate resistance bands, weights—and bright activewear that puts her in a good mood.
