You never know when it is going to happen, but jewelry more often than not will fail you and break. But, don’t throw your favorite ring into the garbage and spend an arm and a leg on going to a professional when you can fix much of your jewelry at home with ease!

Stones

Whether it is your favorite necklace, ring, or earrings, there is nothing worse than having a stone fall out. If you are able to save the stone, gluing it back in place is relatively easy. However, you just need to make sure you don’t just use super glue, as that often will not be enough. Depending on what material the stone is made out of will dictate what kind of glue you need.

Knots

If you are someone who does not store your necklaces right, chances are you have gotten a few knots in the chain. Luckily, getting them out only requires a bit of patience, baby oil, and a sewing needle. Rub some baby oil on the knots to loosen them, which will most likely allow them to release on their own. If they are very stubborn,u use the needle to loosen the knots completely.
