When it comes to trends in 2020, they all seem to have one thing in common—comfort. And shoes are no exception. The latest It shoe comes straight from the runway and they may look familiar to you. Pillow boots are pretty much a modern take on moon shoes, which were made popular by Nickelodeon in the ’50s. The shoe from Nicolas Ghesquière premiered on the Louis Vuitton S/S 21 runway and they were been released this week.
These nylon quilted ankle boots scream comfort as they’re like walking on clouds. And like all things from the high-end brand, the pillow boots have the brand’s iconic monogram logo. They come in three neutral shades—black, green, and white, and they cost $1140.
While on the runway the boots were styled with graphic dresses, slouchy shorts, and cropped collared tops, we picture them worn in a more relaxed way with leggings or sweats. They fit in perfectly with our casual, WFH outfits, but they’re still high fashion with the monogram detail.
