Green Bay Packers’ superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers already has another gig in place when the 2020 NFL season wraps up. During his recent appearance on Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers revealed that he’ll serve as a guest host on the popular game show Jeopardy!.

Rogers admitted that he broke the news a bit earlier than expected, considering that the Jeopardy! producers didn’t want to make the news official just yet.

“I just got so excited on the show earlier,” said Rodgers. “It just went down the last couple of days, us figuring it out. It is very exciting. It’s for the offseason.”

Aaron Rodgers previously appeared on Jeopardy! in 2015, when he took part in a celebrity episode of the show. Rodgers ended up as a winner, beating astronaut Mark Kelly and Shark Tank’s star Kevin O’Leary to take $50,000. The money was donated to Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer.

Rodgers explained that he has been a fan of the show for many years and is exciting to get behind the scene.

“We’ll be even more excited when that opportunity gets a little closer, but, man, the show has been so special to me over the years,” he added.

Before he turns his attention to Jeopardy!, Rodgers has a Super Bowl to win. His Green Bay Packers are among the favorites to go all the way this season and face their first playoff test on Saturday when they’ll host LA Rams.
