Meghan Markle worked as a guest editor on the September issue of British Vogue and she used this opportunity to surprise all of her fans. The Duchess of Sussex announced she will be launching her own charity fashion collection.

Markle is working with brands Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, Jigsaw, and her friend Misha Nonoo to create a unique collection of workwear. All of the clothes collected from the sales will go to Smart Works, a charity that helps unemployed women find jobs.

“When you walk into a Smart Works space you’re met with racks of clothing and an array of bags and shoes. Sometimes, however, it can be a potpourri of mismatched sizes and colours, not always the right stylistic choices or range of sizes,” Markle wrote for Vogue.

It was announced that for every piece of clothing bought by customers, one item will be donated to Smart Works.

“Not only does this allow us to be part of each other’s story, it reminds us we are in it together.”

It seems that Markle’s fashion range will be dropping in September, and we can’t wait to see what it looks like.
