Beyoncé, Dua Lipa, and Kylie Jenner are only some of the celebrities that put Marine Serre’s moon print on the map this year. After taking over the fashion world, this trendy pattern is now becoming a common motif in chic manicures popping up on Instagram.
Jenner’s go-to nail artist Chaun Legend recently embraced this rising trend with a black and white manicure that he crafted for the Instagram user @heycheftray. In her case, the black crescent moon print perfectly contrasted the white base, as a way of matching the Marine Serre shirt she was wearing at the moment.
Thanks to his huge following, Chaun Legend managed to transform each of his manicures into an instant trend, and that’s currently happening with the Marine Serre print. The color combo he embraced is the most common, but we’re expecting to see different tonal variations as this trend evolves since Marine Serre bodysuits come in many different shades.
Legend, however, shouldn’t get all the credit for this rising trend. Moon print in general is experiencing a huge boom on the nail art scene right now, and some of the manicures popping up on our Instagram feed have nothing to do with Marine Serre’s signature print.
