Have you heard of Peep on a Perch? If you love Elf on the Shelf, Peep on a Perch is right up your alley. It’s the Easter version and it’s much cuter and sweeter than the Elf. So, what exactly is it?

The kit, which can be bought on Amazon for $17.42, comes with a storybook by Andrea Posner-Sanchez and a Peeps plush that looks just like the classic Easter candy. While no candy Peeps are included, to make the tradition even more fun, snack on some Peeps while reading the story. You can purchase Peeps at most supermarkets or drugstores for around $2.

The book tells the story of the Easter Peep and how it helps the Easter Bunny get ready for the holiday by filling Easter baskets, decorating eggs, and making sure kids behave nicely.

Like Elf on the Shelf, Peep on a Perch is meant to serve as a model for good behavior for kids. Leading up to Easter, parents hide the adorable yellow plush Peep around the house in new spots and kids are supposed to go searching for it.

So, what do you think of Peep on a Perch? Are you ready to start a new Easter tradition?
