Who can resist waking up to the smell of pancakes in the morning on a weekend? The only bad thing is making them for a lot of people without a griddle can just take a really long time.

If you don’t have the budget or the space to go out and buy a griddle, that doesn’t mean you have to keep using skillets! If you want to make a ton of pancakes in one go use this DIY fix and you’ll be swimming in pancakes.

Instead of a griddle, all you need for large quantities of pancakes is a sheet pan. If you have a gas stove or a grill in your backyard or even at a local park, this is the perfect substitution.

Just flip the sheet pan so the top side becomes your griddle surface, and you’re set!

The best way to get the sheet pan to be as griddle like as possible is to use a sheet pan with sides that are slightly more raised than a regular sheet pan so they can stand up higher from the flames.

Also, make sure your sheet pan isn’t non-stick because you don’t want the flame to be close to those chemicals. And, finally, do not be shy with the nonstick spray, or your pancakes will not come off easily!
