How to Make a Macrame Owl

For anybody who lived through the ’70s, you will be well-acquainted with the art of macrame. Macrame is an art form that involves the tying of ropes with various knots. These special knots art used to create unique images and animals.

Materials:

  • 8 pieces of rope – 180cm long / 3mm thick
  • 1 piece of rope – 50 cm long
  • 4 pieces of rope – 15 cm long
  • 2 wooden beads for eyes
  • 1 wood stick to be used as dowling

Once you have assembled your materials, you are ready to get started on your owl. The tutorial will lead you through all of the steps and by the end of it, you will have your very own macrame owl wall hanging. All of your friends and family will love it!
