It’s been almost a year since Hermès announced they’d be launching a brand-new beauty and skincare line this year, and we finally know what to expect. The luxury brand kicked off this creative endeavor by unveiling a line of 24 lipsticks.
Each of the lipsticks in the “Rouge Hermès” collection perfectly captures the lavishness and sophistication this brand is known for, and Bali Barret – artistic director of the Hermès women’s universe – explained exactly what they had in mind while creating it.
“Like a silk scarf gracing a woman’s neck that creates radiance and reveals her beauty, for Hermès Beauty, we wanted to rediscover the emotion of color as a fundamental and feminine trait,” said Barret in a press release.
The “Rouge Hermès” collection features a total of 10 lipsticks in a matte finish, and an additional 14 with a stain finish, reminiscent of the brand’s signature Kelly bag. The lipsticks are packaged in refillable tubes, and buying one at select Hermès boutiques will set you back by $68.
