We all have our standard routines when it comes to cleaning kitchen. After all, it’s the place where the food is – it has to be clean at all times. But perhaps you’re forgetting something? There are surfaces that can retain dust and bacteria if not cleaned often, so here’s the list of things you should make sure to clean every time.

Countertops

How many times have you left non-food items on your countertops? Many people put their bags, wallets, and keys there after grocery shopping, and that stuff has been everywhere!

Sink

Make sure to wipe the sink every time you’re done with the dishes. Don’t use the same sponge you do for dishes, though. Spray with a disinfectant and wipe with a clean towel (can be a paper one).

Cloths and Sponges

Do you remember to clean and replace your sponges and clothes often? With millions of bacteria living on them, doing this as often as 3-4 times per week is a must.
